I moved to California to continue my career as a musician and paid the bills working at a theater and teaching piano and tap dancing to children. I morphed into a news researcher at KGO-TV when they shot with film. And then there was tape and once digital entered the scene people discovered anyone could be a producer, writer, shooter, editor, host, and "If you don't like the movies, go make one of your own" (which I did for the Mill Valley Film Festival before introducing the first New Media Interactive Exhibit).
